Which method does everyone use to seal the holes in TII rotor housings??
I cannot stop the intake manifold from leaking coolant from the holes in the rotor housings into the ports. I have tried numerous o-rings and RTV. I have a bec/arnley gasket that is rubber on the outside and metal on the inside. I can't get it to seal no matter what I do. I did manage to get a paper gasket to seal, but now I have to go to work in a few hours and I need a fix. Magnum steal? Marine tecs? other gunk? plugs? the hole in one housing is corroded pretty bad so I don't know how I would thread anything into it. any help is appreciated. I wish I was dead.

Bruce Turrentine goes over this in his rebuild video, but it's been a while, and I forgot exactly what kind of stuff he was using...Something akin to 10-minute epoxy, or Fastweld type stuff, IIRC....If there's a lot of corrosion or powdery oxidation present on the surfaces, you're not going to get much of anything to stick...

yeah I have called some people and I need to find some small metallic disks that will seal the hole and then I can "glue" around them with like JB or something and make it hold. that is all I can think of. I really really want that big cushy cutlass down the road right now. out of friends, time, and energy. still not fixed.
