Metallic Substrate Catalytic Converter

Does anyone have any experience with these things? I did a search and found little information on either the 2nd or 3rd gen boards.

Interested in how it lasts, does it pass emissions easily etc. I know my buds over on the 928 boards think these are the Bee's Knee's...

My 88 got rear-ended and the exhaust took a severe hit. The exhaust was not in good condition and is now totaled with cracks in the converters and bends with cracks at the rear.

None of the 'big-time' exhaust boys (RB, MazdaTrix) really do anything about the cat. I'm not interested in a Bonez system-I believe them to be a nice part, but overpriced.

I'm gonna redo the exhaust, thinking about giving this a try.

Feedback with experience appreciated.

thx

-Jack
