messed up idle
hey guys
my 86 survived it's first winter on the snowy streets of winnipeg canada. but now the idle is messed up...sometimes i idle at 750, sometimes at 1000 and sometimes at 1300...it changes every 20 minutes or so. also it only does the 3000rpm start up when starting it after shutting it off like 5 minutes ago. please please please tell me this has nothing to do with cold solder crap because im tired of playin' with that stuff (cold solder took at least 2 monthes to get right on my 90 vert)
well thanks!

The TPS probably needs to be adjusted or it is going bad.
If you have not messed around with the throttle body at all, it should have not just "fallen" out of adjustment.
Is your check engine light coming on at all?
