i have a really similar car to his i bet mine is worth about the same since mine has minor front end damage , 88 s4 na , streetported, borla catback, centerforce dual friction clutch, rb lightweight flywheel, kn intake, magnecor wires, mazdaspeed motor and tranny mounts, and alot of other new parts and has 146k miles

i paid 1000 for my car and invested over $3000+ into it so far and still not done yet , been working on it since september last year.

I'd give him 10k for the labor hours invested in his car.

I wish I had the guts or determination to do something like this at his age.

You all suck.

Its a principal thing.

The 1988 year plays a part. na plays a part. you rebuilt the engine plays a part. primer plays a big part. Remember, mods actually lower the price unless the buyer is an enthusiast. If you got a clean paint job, I'd say $3000 at most unless the buyer is an idiot. Keeping it primer will get you around $1500 and $2000 could be possible for someone who really wants a 7. But me personally, because I have a crystal white 90 TII(yes, the initial d car ), I would offer 1000.

You'd pay $10k for someone ******* the same thing up over and over because he wouldn't take the time to actually read the manual or check anything when he slapped stuff together? Principal of what? Would you pay some Mechanic that was working on your car $10k for screwing it up over and over again because he was learning? Didn't think so.

just figured i'd mention, paintjob here in greensboro, nc is from about $250 at econopainting and others ll painting is maybe $3000 and nice. if you prep the car yourself and take it to somewhere like econopainting than you can get a pretty nice paint job that just costs you the $250 for econo to spray it and probably 10-20 hours of your time to prep it. maybe only like 3 hours of work.

Considering the car no longer exists, I think it's safe to close this thread.
