Well, they are a business..
Also one great benefit to use them vs buying through the for sale section...
I order $200 in gaskets and stuff for a rebuild and it got lost in the mail. Mazdatrix sent me news ones the next day. Try getting that from a forum member.

plus they are not a huge clearinghouse of autoparts so they can't get volume discounts when buying stuff

their more expensive on some things and cheaper on others but where talking nickles and dimes, exept for RB stuff that is sold through mazdatrix. mazdtatrix sells the RB porting templates for just about double what RB charges but that all I have really come across that is grosly mispriced

Its too bad mazdaformance.com doesnt exist anymore, I did a small comparison of some parts needed for an S4 to S5 turbo swap, like gaskets and stuff, and they were like 20% cheaper than mazdatrix back in the day.

its just harder to find stuff like an outside doorhandle, random interior junk and sensors at a good price....i think the best thing to do is buy a couple of parts cars. and take what you need. thats my plan!

i think mazdatrix is better in pricing than anybody else. The only thing i wouldnt buy off that site is their apex seals, i go to atkins for that.

try blackdragonauto.com....the prices are a bit steep on a few things but they have all the little random accessories that are hard to find.

I like mazdatrix because its OEM, I got a blower motor resistor for my 80 from black dragon and it was a cheap knock off that lasted a week. I got it from mazdatrix and it was OEM and 5 dollars cheaper. Mazdatrix always gets my order correct, but beware of there shifter bushings, they are charging double what my local dealer charges.

Mazdatrix is not the end-all nor are they the cheapest for OEM parts.
Mazdaformance (RIP) and Malloy used to consistently beat Mazdatrix prices - too bad they don't have nice websites like Mazdatrix does.
Mazdatrix will usually beat your local Mazda dealer.

Yep. Mazdatrix is usually similar to Mazda list prices, maybe a bit over. Dealers, on the other hand, will usually change a 15-20% markup over list.

A ball joint at BlackDragon goes for $30 each while at MazdaTrix it goes for about $70 each.I wonder if the part from MazdaTrix is an actual Mazda made part while at BlackDragon it is an OEM product.Just wondering.

so i ran out of M10 x 1.25 nuts (exhaust manifold) with a 14mm head and went to the dealer... they wanted $6.50 PER NUT. you can't find them at the hardware store easily because they only have ones with 17mm head, which is really tight on an HKS turbo manifold

You sure they are not 10mm x 1.50?
If so, we use BMW exhaust nuts, which are like $1 / each - surprising from a Euro manufacturer.
These use 15mm hex, so it might be tight?

I would pay the $70 for them paying more always means they are better faster and will last longer.
