Mazdatrix drilled/slotted rotors?
I'm just curious if anyone's been running their rotors on their cars. How are they?
I'm trying to order all the parts for my brake overhaul but it seems like I have to order parts from 4 different places unless I go with maxdatrix.
Where do you buy your brake parts?

Unless there's a severe need for you to have drilled/slotted rotors, then I recommend you stick with OEM (or equivalent) replacement parts. I prefer to use Raybestos ceramic pads and whatever non-drilled/slotted rotors you can find. Even the crappiest brand Autozone rotors will probably give you quite a long service life before having to replace them again.
If you're planning on racing your car non-stop, then yeah, go for some super high quality slotted rotors. They help vent off the gasses from the brake pads when operating at extreme demand situations, thus reducing (not completely eliminating) brake fade. However, the rotors become more of a wear item due to stress cracks that can develop over a relatively short period of time. Even when customers have brought me the cheapest "Duralast" rotors from Autozone, I never once saw them stress crack. It's less prominent in the slotted only rotors, but they're still susceptible to it. Putting super-high performance brake pads and rotors on your car for street use is a little over-kill, and if you have that kind of money to waste, then go ahead and send it to me. I can put it to better use. Good OEM quality rotors and ceramic pads are (in my opinion) the most you'll really ever need.
