MazdaComp VS. Delrin Diff mounts

So I'll be replacing my diff mounts soon. My car is making really bad clunking sounds, vibrations etc. So i was looking at rear diff mounts. The delrin ones are extremely cheap vs the ones that are mazda comp.

I've done the search and the only differnce I can find is how stiff they are and transmit more vibration to the chassis.

Is it the delrins that transmit more vibration or the mazda comps?

Is there any other differnce?

Betcha its not the rear mounts - its the front one OR it has cracked the subframe attachment tab where the front mount bolts into.

according to the responses I got in the thread I made, delrin mounts are as good as solid, so they WILL cause a severe increase in NVH (noise vibrations hardness).

Now, the black hard plastic ones (not as hard as delrin?) I don't know about, but I'd say yes. Everyone I got an opinion from said they put hard ones on then went back to the stock ones.

how noticeable is the vibration. Can you feel it or can it only be heard?

I turned my rear mounts upside down and welded a small plate across the front mount - effectively solid mounting the diff. In combination with my solid motor and tranny mounts I can feel everything the drivetrain does. Of course, the response is terrific when you romp on it.

is the vibration very subtle or is extremely noticeable like a broken front diff mount

not really subtle but nothing close to a broken diff mount.

I feel the vibration. I rode in a car that had the AL ones before I got mine. The vibration feel kinda weird like something is wrong if yer not expecting it, but the vibrations are mostly in the "takeoff"/0-3000 RPM area. after that it's pretty smooth and ya don't really notice it. I can tell you this, I have definately noticed the power transfer due to the solid mounts. gives a much "tighter" feel to acceleration and shifting.

I don't have the solid tranny mounts yet but I'm told that with them installed shifting improves even more.

I don't know about the delrin mounts, but I did install the Mazda Comp rear mounts on my 90 GXL a few years back when I put in an LSD. I do get some resonant vibrations in certain speed/rpm ranges. The vibrations become more pronounced when it gets cold outside. If I were to remove the differential again, I would probably go back to the stock Mazda mounts.
