Mazda Plastic sounds...or my fuel pump going buggy?? (A/F gauge is working good).

OK I have taken on the task of hunting down strange sounds in my car...

There are two I cannot figure out.

#1 Sound behind the drivers seat towards the rear of the car...but definitly coming from the drivers side area in the hatch some where. It sounds more like a chirping or really quiet plastic squeek...But the sound can only be heard on light throttle ( -15 to -10 vacuum )....worried my fuel pump is going nutz.

#2 Sound right in my gauge cluster (in behind it it sounds like) I don't think I can get rid of that one, probably my shot stock boost gauge and clicking wiper switches. Also can only be heard during throttle pressing, however can be heard on light throttle, or deceleration as well...sounds like mazda plastic + boost gauge... I don't know.

But needless to say beyond those 2 I have located every other sound in my car (just the plastic clamps coming loose and creeking) and I just need to fix those two...

Your exaust needs to be louder

seriously - hatch squeeks are common. Do a search for "hatch" and you'll see what I mean.

I've got the same problem with my vert's gague cluster. I just need to disassemble and repair/reinforce all the mounting stuff.
