Mazda/Pioneer radio bulb replacement CD/cassette head

The radio illumination is out on my 1989 Convertible with factory AM/FM/CD/Cassette radio by Pioneer. I just pulled the unit. Anyone else change their bulb(s) and know what is involved and what bulb(s) are required? I did search before posting. Thanks for any assistance.

Can't do it.

Its an integrated part of the LCD display and that display has been out of stock for 10 years now.

Maybe yours is turned off. You do know that the lights on the radio can be turned off?

No, I did not know! I'll check my owner's manual and change the setting. You are probably right, as this is the only item not illuminated at night.
