max hp from a 89-91 motor?

max hp from a 89-91 motor?

hey i was just wondering what the 89-91 turbo motor can handle hp wise, some say it can handle 500hp, maybe more, while others say its only good for 350hp or so anyone, what kinda numbers we got?

i been trying to find out the same thing from what i got now is that you can hit 500rwhp but anything over that is pushing it along with your budget once you get up to the 475 and up they aint really reliable but 350rwhp is fairly reliable if im wrong can someone correct me

Depends on the money you put into it. Are we talking stock rotors and shaft? Stock housings?

I doubt those numbers are done on a DynoJet.
560 at 30psi on a T76 is disappointing.

Mind you, no way a street 13B can spool a T76 by itself.
It's a fricken race car for christsake.

And BTW, that "ygo20b" moniker is just plain stupid.
A 20B can easily do 600hp (DynoJet) at 15psi no problem.
More power at half the boost...I call that a pretty damn good reason to go 20B...

I would imagine that it depends on many factors. How high do you want to rev it? Do you want to buy hardened stationary gears? Who's tuning the car? There are alot of variables, but not nearly as many variables as in a piston engine.
