so someone told me that if you have the mass airflow flatside up (so it shows the black) that the car will run less rich... since i have mine turned the other way... and my car is running rich... i was wondering if it is true?

as long as it is flat (either upside down or upside up) there will be no change in the car running rich or not.
It's when the S4 AFM is angled that you will have issues.
