yea i dont care if it is plastic or carbon BUT HE IS MAKING IT IN CARBON, what do you expect us to do...put together some legos then drill holes for the gauges? i dont car if they are fiberglass, carbon, plastic....i really could careless....

A glossy, non stock texture would look just as hokey.
Painted, not painted, carbon fiber, titanium..
the point is being missed here.
We need more people making stock replacement parts for these cars that compete with Mazda.
$130.00 for a singel vertical windshield side moulding, or $60 for a lower exterior window molding in the door is too much.

That is not correct. A plastic part would not be cheaper to manufacture for as little as would be sold. A plastic injection mold would cost someone 50K to produce. Sure the plastic material is cheaper but divide 50 grand by say 100 gauge pods and you have $500.00 gauge pods and the company has yet to pay for the material, mold operators paycheck and surly has not made a profit yet.

There is a process called RTV molding. It is used in the rapid prototyping industry. Basically you take a part and a box that is larger than the part. You poor the RTV into the box aprox. half the thickness of the part. Insert the part into the RTV and wait for it to cure (Rubbery). Then poor more RTV over the part and cured RTV and let it cure. Now you have a mold in two halves. Remove the original part and this leaves a void where the plastic can fill. You insert the plastic with a large syringe.
The mold will only last for a few parts before the edges start to come out jagged. Probably an expensive process to use for this type of thing though.

Final shape and size for the WLP has been accomplished. The WLP replaces the Warning light cluster and plastic cover. Relocation of the light cluster could be handled by the consumer or the use of our Warning light relocation kit. This kit is under development and will be announced in the next two weeks. Please Notice the new thread started for WLP. The new thread will be used to announce order dates, pricing and such. This thread will continue to be used for the radio gauge pod development. Due to be finalized within 2 weeks as well.

Here we are ahead of schedule. The mold for the WLP is in the works. Going just as planned. It turned out to be a 3 piece mold which added to the number of setups, programs and such.
The Warning Light relocation kit has been finalized. the following renderings are of a replacement panel that inserts into the stock radio surround using existing threads. It will completely cover the opening the removal of the factory stereo would leave. It will be sold trimmed for the following uses or sold blank.
1) FCS4DINWARING = Radio replacement panel for a single din unit and warning light cluster relocation
2) FCS4DIN3GAUGE = Radio replacement panel for (3) 2-1/16 gauges maximum.
3) FCS4BLANK = Blank radio replacement panel
We also have finalized a radio replacement panel that houses (3) 2-5/8 gauges angled up toward the driver.

I would definately be interested in helping to test fit or prototype any projects. Between myself, Kurgan, and Zyounker, we have a fcs4, fcs5, and an fb. I also have much experience making composites and may be able to offer more relevant feedback. Let me know what you think.
BTW, all three cars live at "Kurgan" 's house, so test fitting in all three cars would be super easy.
