Mariah Mode six---> opinions?
Well, I was thinkin about going FD shopping, but I think I want something kinda different. I have been lookin at the Mariah mode 6 package for my TII.
I have seen the pics on the web, but its really hard to tell what the car really looks like on a computer screen.
That brings me to ask, has anyone ever seen one in the flesh? How good/bad does it look? How is the fit? Would you do it if you had the coin? Max...

well, i just recieved a quote today about how much the all said and done cost would be and.... well they said once you factor everything in it is about 13,000 dollars. it requires a lot of custom molding of the fiberglass body parts to the existing body. i think in a few years, i might be ready for this.

I have been in MARIAH and seen their MODE 6 2nd gen. It looks badass!..the only thing i didnt like was the rear wing that sticks out too far back. Other than that everything looks sweet!..Its a full wide body kit so it does involve alot of custom work. I have seen some people that only bought the front and rear end but it looks better with the wide fenders. If you want full wide body kit, I may say that TRI-POINT's kit looks good too. My friend Chito with a 3Rotor 87 has this kit and it looks awesome. Tri-Point kits are alot cheaper!..It does require a wide 10" rims..

PaulC,
It's not a kit. It's a conversion from what the Mariah guys told me. That includes suspension rework, turbo / engine upgrades, etc.. I think there price has dropped as well and you can get a TT 2 rotor cosmo & kit for ~$13K now - not too bad.
thank you drive through:

This is my personal opinion on the "system"...
The front bumper looks too much like a MkIII Supra, but it is very functional with all the ducts and enlarged openings.  tims uses them for his SU FC turbo in NASA Pro Racing.  I feel the front bumper has very little "style" to it.
The fender "blister" kit is too "rounded", as this goes counter to the "sharp" nature of the FC design.  This makes the car look like a "blob".
The rear spoiler is "interesting" - nothing else on the market looks like it, and it's very distinctive.  You would never mistake this design for another brand.  I think it's a bit too big an gaudy myself.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Some people love this kit - I would rather spend my money else where.
