manifold and turbo housing cracks

Here are some pics...I hope they work.

https://www.rx7club.com/photo/showph...t=7&thecat=500

This is the left hole on the manifold that connects to the block.

This is on the bend of the manifold where the big circle thing connects to kind of. hard to explain.

And that is actually on the turbo housing that connects to the manifold.

Are these bad? Or would I be able to use them still? I am planning to take them to a machine shop and get them fixed probably :P But just let me know.

That's all fine. The only time cracks are bad on a turbo manifold is -

- if the crack lets exhaust gas escape and create an exhaust leak

- if the crack goes under the sealing surface of the gasket - that introduces gas under the gasket, leading to premature gasket failure.

I wouldn't sweat it. Looks like most every S4 manifold/turbine housing I've seen .

Before spending any money on it, I would upgrade to the '89-91 turbine housing and exhaust manifold. MUCH more efficient setup, and two wastegate ports.

Would these last for a few more years with only about 1-2k miles a year? Dont really want to buy new turbo housings or manifolds for a little while. Got other stuff I need to do to it first.
