making a cat-back, what mufflers?
hey, i am going to be making a cat-back for my 89 na. the one on there now is missing a muffler and leaking before the muffler on the other side. i don't want a ricey sounding exhaust, something moderately noisy, not too loud, not too quiet. and i like the deep sound. what kind of mufflers would you recommend, i want to stay around a 3 inch tip also.
thanks for your advice,
jake oh yeah, i'm also not looking to spend a ton of money on it as i need new tires soon also.

www.corksport.com sells nice mufflers, but the tips may be too big for your tastes, and they are pretty loud.

I am intrested to, but 3" tip is way to big for me, something like 2 - 2 1/2" I dont want anything loud either, just a good stock replacement that lets a little more flow go through.

whats the advantage of single exhaust other than weight? it would be easier to make, but i could do the dual with just a little more time. what size pipe should i use? it looks like stock is 2", would 2.5" be too much with duals, or will that be ok?
