Main fuse again (kinda searched)

Well this is my problem. I've gone through 3 or 4 main fuses in the past 3 weeks. The first one blew went the alternater belt snaped. The second one blew after that, i though it blew maybe because it was damp when i changed it. Last night after it rained, I blew the fuse again. Then i chaged it and it blew right away. The other times it lasted for about a week or so. I change it again today and well it works. I know nothing about wires and such. So if you could tell me were to look what to look for, or if it's to hard for a newbe to handle, what i need to say to the guy when i bring it in to a shop.

From: Findlay, Ohio for now. Thinking about moving in with your mom.
Same thing happend to me, the only way this is happening is because your stock top mount intercooler touches the nipple on the back of your alternator and makes a short. I would check to see if the intercooler is touching anything or not, that would be my guess.

It sounds like your alternators pooched. Get either a factory mazda one, or get yours rebuilt. There are some horror stories of getting it rebuilt, but i have never had a bad experience with it. Or you could get an FD alternator.

Alt should never exceed 15 volts or damage will occur to the electronics in the car
