Main Engine Ground
My engine has been out for a while, but I recently put it in and I've forgotten if the main engine ground connects to the engine side or the starter side?
Or does it go inbetween the starter and the block?

The *negative* battery cable goes on the long bolt that holds the starter on, which seems to be the preferred method. I've also seen it connected behind the engine.

Can someone just look on their car and check?
The workshop manual doesnt show it, I've searched and everyone has just said the starter bolt... its either the starter side, the engine side or in between.
A bad ground (especially the main one) can cause all sorts of problems.

I just did this today. Mount the ground on the engine-tranny bolt that is ABOVE the long bolt that goes through the starter. If you don't mount it above the long bolt, you won't have enough slack to attach the oil-pressure lead and resistor pack lead.
