Magnaflow Muffler- 8bucks
I picked up some Magnaflow Mufflers today at Pick-n-Pull from an 89 GTU. Were only 8 bucks each.
How do I tell if they are the Stainless type, Racing, or other? Or if they're even still good?
Also, there's quite a bit of carbon buildup on the inner tips...can I or should I attempt to clean these up?
They were cheap....is it worth replacing my stock muffler by putting these on until I buy others?
Whats your recommendation?

I'll try the magnet test...
Is this an improvement to the stock exhaust...used etc? I currently have almost no mods... did the Icemark AirFilter 1" hole trick....that's it so far.
Racing Magnaflow...I don't know...just read that in a bunch of threads. Sounded like they offered many different types. Going to Magnaflow's website to understand this better...if they've got one.
