Lucas Tranny fix fluid

I got some of that Lucas tranny fix fluid to assist in my hard shifting tranny, but I only found out about it after I had already changed the tranny fluid and don't want to have to do that again. It says I can add more fluid to it with the engine warm and idling, but I don't really wanna get under the car with the car on and work on the tranny. Can't I just add this when the cars off or is there a certain reason that it has to be warm and idling?

That stuff is crap. I would suggest taking it out of your transmission.

Edit: Since you haven't yet, I wouldn't suggest putting it in.

Thats a good question to ask,

Working at an autoparts store whenever people bring that to the register I ask if it is an automatic, about 40% of the time someone is planning on putting The autotransmisssion stopslip/shift fix crap into a manual.

Thats not a good thing to do...
