Alright so I had a monsterous oil leak that I haven't resoleved yet.

I changed the omp out and haven't started her up yet to see if the oil leak issue is resoleved.

It's too cold for start up right now (low 40's outside)

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone uses lucas oil treatment in their engine and has had any kind of OMP explosion.

Lucas is like tree sap. Though not sticky. It's thick and is like the Aunt Jimima of oil stabilizers.

Could an oil additive like this cause a build up in the OMP and blow it?

I don't think it will cause MOP to "Blow up". But I am not sure it would burn to cleanly in the combustion chamber.
