all you guys that mindless repeat what you read on an internet forum need to go for a ride in a car with cut springs...people ask me what suspension setup i have all the time after a ride in my car and even hardcore "dont cut coils" people cant tell...christ its getting rediculous how much people just repeat with absolutely no experience to back it up. i've had cut coils on my 7 for almost a year...and its not just one coil i cut out my 7 tucks tire front and rear. hey what do ya know!? they ride BETTER, dont bounce any more than the almighty lowering spring, it was FREE, and they're not sagging. whoa whodathunkit!?!?

just an opinion, why cut the springs? kinda seems halfassed imo... kind like using Plywood Spoilers...

Im with Perk, a 5 lug swap should have been first... and an LSD.
Well actualy before that. Read the FAQs, Grab a Haynes Manual and Read, then do a Full 60k Tuneup... the best mod you can do to an old FC.

to the author... Rims and all are nice. but how cool are rims going to look on a non-running car? Maintaince comes 1st. and with these cars, it can't be overlooked nor half-assed or you'll be sitting.

I knew a guy that spent a ton of money in the body, when his engine went poop... ended up crushing the car cause he didnt have money and time to fixer.

good luck to you though

5 lug swap has nothing to do with money spent on cut springs.

and i fully agree, maintanece/tune ups are the most important
