Low Mileage TII with Glass Sunroof?
I was just looking through autotrader for kicks and found this '87 TII with 22k original miles (so they say). That in itself is pretty interesting, but looking through the pics I noticed a glass sunroof. I remember a thread a while back talking about how rare the glass sunroofs are.
I'm just curious here as I don't need another TII and I have a carbon fiber sunroof panel in the mail anyway. But does this car have that rare sunroof or does it look aftermarket as I've never seen one? Just thought I'd share.

That's a great looking TII. If it were local, I'd be very tempted to go check it out. I guess I'd be a little concerned that it has ended up on a small used car lot rather than being sold by the owner. Looks super clean though, and I love black S4s. I would think you could probably bargain the price down a bit, but if it is really that low mileage, clean and unmolested, I'd think it could be worth $6000 or $7000 to the right buyer.
As for the moonroofs, they were made by two manufacturers (one was Saratoga I think) and sold through Mazda dealerships as part of the "Finish Line" aftermarket equipment group. There is a thread at the top of the Second Gen section that has more info. They came in glass and some kind of polycarbonate plastic, some with externally visible hardware, some without. That is probably the real deal there, but I'm not an expert. From the interior photo, you can see the headliner has the standard Mazda fabric edge trim, but I didn't see a good photo of the exterior.
Not sure I'd even want one on a black FC since they get hot enough inside without them in the summer though...
