Question Looking for some opinions, S4 T2 build almost done

i was going to just rebuild my motor after cracking a rear iron last year but have ended up doing quit more,

started with s4 T2 with 91xxx km , car had a complete hks street turbo kit from the 90's(ecu intercooler 2 extra injectors) racing beat exhaust and a bunch of other stuff that was out dated, bought the car after it was sitting for about 8 years of another member on the forum,

my goal with this car is just for sunday driving and track use, eventually just track when i finish my other FC

this is my 3rd rx7 not including parts cars lol but my first real build with one so alot of this is new, use to have a turbo honda for a track car but sold it to buy this

specs / what i have for it now

engine
s4 T2 keg street ported and rebuilt by cansaf
garret to4e turbo (part of hks kit )
hks front mount also part of original kit
apexi pfc for FD
banzai s4 fc PFC conversion kit
emissions delete plates
racing beat full exhaust
poly eng / tran mounts
wide band
omp delete (premix now)

rest of car

autopower roll bar
sparco seats
black interior
croksport lip
strut bars
fikse 3 pc rims
bigger sway bars
6 puc clutch
braided oil lines
aluminum rad
LED tails

thing i plan to buy still

new brakes (rotors pads)
braided brake lines
aem true boost controller, any one using this?
coilovers not sure what kind (suggestions?)
walbro fuel pump
aeromotive FPR
rear diffuser

also have a few questions instead of making a bunch of threads all try to ask them all hear , sorry if some seem stupid but i have spent hours searching some of this

big thing iam not sure on is injectors, what size i need, what brands are good
should i go with high impedance or low? i havent done my engine harness yet cause iam not sure of this(car currently has the resistor box) , i plan on running 12-14 psi so iam not sure how big i need, do i need two or do all 4? any suggestions or idea on this? or a link?

exhaust, i like the racing beat set up but want it abit louder, i have been thinking of maby taking out the resinator or maby changing up the two mufflers, any one modified theirs?
i have another racing beat on my other fc so i wont miss the sound

like i said above iam also still in need of coilovers, i dont want to spend crazy money on them but i dont want junk, i have no experince with coilovers yet so i only know what i have read, wondering what you guys are using on your cars, not for STANCE but for street track use

also any one that has done the PFC , what throttle body did you use? s4 s5 or FD

iam hoping for 300-350 whp think i am going to get their?

350 should be easy with that turbo, and street port.

Oh, and DEFINITELY yes on 4 injectors hahahaha, that was actually a pretty good laugh.

I'd say go 720 primary, and 1600 secondary, not just to make sure you have enough fuel, but a little more potential down the line. But your motor should throw 300-350 down without even breaking a sweat.

I'd say throw it all together, and make sure you have someone VERY up to speed with rotary motors do the tuning.

As for coilovers, Tein will probably suit you pretty well. They won't "slam" the car, and are very comfortable when beating on the car

That sounds really odd haha

But yeah, with the right tuner, you should have a pretty reliable 350.

Nice build. My FC coupe is also black with red.

I believe that the HKS turbo was a TO4E "57". If so, then you are looking at peak hp somewhere in the 300bhp range, with excellent drivability in the lower rpm range. If it is a "60", then peak hp would be a little over 400bhp. Since you have a street/autocross turbo, I wouldn't worry about peak hp so much as good drivability. If peak hp is more important to you, then you need to move up to a drag race turbo like a T66. FYI when you state that your car is for "track use", it does not describe the type of racing, therefore people on this forum can't answer your questions very well.

I would ask about fuel injectors (and also the throttle body) in our PFC subforum. Each EMS has its own quirks about what it likes and doesn't like. If you have a choice, use low impedance injectors (peak & hold) because they operate faster. Assuming 40psi fuel pressure and .65 BSFC, you will need a minimum total of 3562cc/min for 400bhp, or 4007cc/min for 450bhp.

If you are drifting, then any of the cheapie Chinese/Korean coilovers will work fine (Buddy Club, Megan, K-Sport, etc.). For actual racing, I would suggest registering with Mazdaspeed Motorsport Development so that you can buy their Koni/Eibach kit at a discount. Otherwise, you can get a similar kit from Ground Control.

Good move. Heck, it's free, so it's a no-brainer in my book.

Yes, I have the Mazdaspeed Motorsports Stage II kit on one of my cars. You can see this recent thread for a discussion on the subject. My info is there, as well as a lot more info from j9fd3s.

I would also recommend that you read and ask questions in our racing subforum, as you will find people with much more racing experience there. Be sure to specify time attack and lapping.
