its 60% shorter throw, yes it is shorter and it looks like the stock one becuase it was made to bolt right in. there is a couple other members on this forum that have this as well and love it.

The .45 shifter just amused me, I'm getting one of the hurst's like another poster has (not like the one he posted, but like he said close. coming out of a '68 nova so probably just like his)

I'm going to run by AZ and check out that knockoff ****, it may be decent enough for ~$15. I'm loooking for a HEAVY **** to ease the dreaded "MT short shifter rattle", they told me a heavy **** will most likely stop the rattle. I'd like to make one out of lead...

Is it possible to machine your own short shifter? I'm curious, since I've got billet aluminum, a lathe and a milling machine. Not that I'd do it, per se, because I like living, but could it be done?

Mr. ALEX EGGO full titanium shift ****

I'm still debating whether or not I should buy this. I've felt it before and its very light but I've heard that it's better to have a heavier shift ****.

If anyone wants to thread an s5 **** (or FD, miata, or any of that thread) onto your s4 shifter, you can drill and tap the **** like I did. If you want the exact drill bit and tap, I'll sell it to ya cheap (bought them new, used once). I looked all over the 'net for a **** that threads on the s4 shifter, I guess it's a really odd size for shifters.
