looking at a 87 rx-7 t2

I know things like this get asked everyday but here goes anyways. Its a 87 T2 with 109k miles its sitting at a junkyard because it wont start. They say when it does start it runs really really rich and will flood out. I tried pulling tre EGR fuse and cranking it over to clear the system for like 10-15 seconeds. Then i put it back in and tried again. I did this a couple times and nothing. I think its still flooded and maybe i need to clean off the spark plugs, and keep trying to un-flood it. It starts to turn over and everything but just wont kick on. Could the fuel pump of gone bad? I didnt check to see if it was kicking on didnt think about it at the time. Or do you think its just been flooded really bad? What are some helpful ways to get it to un-flood quickly? They are asking 1k for it and its in really really nice condition inside and out completely stock just wont turn over. Is it worth it?

I'd say buy it before you get it running, you dont want them to change the price because it all of a sudden runs, I knew mine was flooded but I waited till I got it home to start it. Got it for way less because it "didnt run"
