Lookin at an RX7 (long)
Ok I posted that i was lookin at a 91 rx-7 well i went and looked at it today. They did the ad wrong and its actually a 1990 GXL. They are asking $6495 canadian for it. It has 148 000 Kms on it. 17" rims and exhaust tips. Looks to be in good shape. No visible dents or scratches. Needs new rear tires. Haven't looked under the hood yet going again tomorrow when owner is there. Anyways the shifting seemed sorta notchy. Otherwise is seemed pretty good never gotta test out all the goodies on it. Like the auto suspension. So anyway I'm looking for any feedback and the location of a good mechanic in the Duncan or Nanaimo area on Vancouver Island to inspect it and all that before I buy.
Thanx for the help.

its the one at bowmen moters isnt it? umm I looked at it and figured you can get way better deals on them, look in the buy sell and trade Iv found some turbo 2's in just as good of condition for the same price. it is a really nice car but the price seemed high. take it to the mazda dealership in nanaimo and ask to talk to mark he is really good and knows everything about them(were lucky hes the only mechanic on the island that knows stuff about rotaries). Good luck man
ohh it looked to me like the body was a little rough on the passenger side and something may have been covered up but I spent most of my time looking under the hood so I couldnt tell ya for sure, so ask about accedents tell me if were even talking about the same car though eh

How did it look under the hood? Like I said I'm going back tomorrow for a better more thorough look. Today was basically just to see if it was worth my while.

oh it looked so nice under the hood very clean but like I said, be sure to ask cuz It really looked like the passenger side was wiped out. There is paint specks on the front passenger wheel so Im wondering about the quality of repair. I would just be carefull with this one, im not saying its bad cuz it could be really good. just see if you can get some history on the car.If anything you could use it to get the price down. It looks really sweet and the rims look very sharp. I hope it works out for you and Ill hopefully see you around. Tell my if you buy her, if you do Ill be sure to flag you down some time
