Kevin,
I'll take one. Do you think theres a way that you could seat the rotor in its natural path inside the rotor housing, instead of like it is? maybe midway-all the way up? It would add a neat look to it. Just a suggestion .
id really like to see a picture of the blue.
Just shoot me an email when you have one ready.
Thanks,
Jameson

UHm, that *is* its natural path inside the housing. Sure, the upper apex of the rotor in the pic isnt as close to the housing as the 2 lower tips...it pretty much has to be this way in order to make the small tack welds on teh back side to hold it in place. I can make an effort to align it closer at the top, , or perhaps youd like the rotor to be in its downward position?
BTW< I'll sell the one pictured to anyone who wants it right now if you want it. IT will be at least a day before I have any more ready. First one with money in paypal gets it.

Kevin,
I've made one of those and EVERYONE that visits my house has commented on how cool the clock is. I used the same steps you used to make yours except I used a parts cleaning bin to clean out the rotor housing.
Your look Great! Hope you sell a lot of them!

More are being made right now. I will have 5 for sale by MOnday. I bought all the clocks in that specific size I could find; there were only 7 left, for a total of 8. I might be able to find more later, but for now it might be a limited edition run of 8 clocks, so get yours now!
ANyone interested can email me at hypntyz@charter.net

3 are now complete and ready to be shipped. 2 more will be done tomorow, all I have to do is weld in the rotor in place and install the clock faces after they are modified on those 2.
You guys wanted them made, so here they are.
I will deliver on what I say I will do!

Yeah but the clock in that one look sold fashoined, not exactly meshing witht he technical/metallic nature of the display. I took a long time locating the clock face I thought most suited a rotary display, plus mine fits perfectly, no play at all. BEsides, by the time most people buy that clock, a rotor and a housing, cleaning supplies, paint for the color scheme, theyll have more time and money in it than what I am asking.
IT is only practical if you have them lying around. Please dont tear up a good rotor and housing by making a display out of it. There are plenty of damaged parts out there for that. Souds like this guy ruined a good set.
