so I just bid on it, or will if my contact finds that it's 15 years old as of June 04, because the lovely country of canada lets us import them 15 years old, but I do need somebody's help because lots of times we can't find the exact date on when they were produced, if I give somebody the serial number, can someone, in the same day, tell me when it was manufactured?

does anyone know someone who works for mazda? I need a contact who can tell me the exact date these things are made. I missed it today because if it isn't in the right month, I get screwed over and have to have it stored in florida and pay an extra 1700 bucks anyway...if anyone knows someone, that would be cool!
or does anyone know a site that has vin numbers on it? the guy I'm getting it from found a site for toyota, but can't find one for mazda

 

Does it have to be down to the day or will the month do? There are two stickers on the door jam,one of them says the month and year(my vert is 4/89). If you have to know the exact day they rolled it off the factory line you will probally have to contact a ?helpful? dealer.

 

it's sitting in japan so I can't go look at it although I would love to be able to, but all I get is a number like FC3S-234809 and that's it. And I have to figure it out from there.

 

Ask somebody to look at the drivers side door jamb.. there should be a plate there that has a date of manufacture in the upper corner...

Mazda VIN numbers don't tell you the exact date, but the final digits tell you what # the car was.. I guess you could figure it out from that....

I know she had exhaust, but just becaue I had a picture of her bumb and could see it, but I didn't get her because I couldn't get the stupid date it was manufactured. They're not written on the door in japan, and mazda doesn't like to give out the numbers on them because it's "competition" with their business so I have to find someone in mazda or a place that can check japanese serial numbers
