Little washers with the 80 PSI upgrade?
I purchased a 80-85 PSI oil pressure valve upgrade from Atkins. It came with 3 or 4 little tiny washers, I remember reading somwhere that I need to shim somthing with these (I think) to get it to fuction as intended. Can anyone please enlighten me on this?
Thanks,
Robert

There is a front cover OPR.  You need to drop the oil pan to install the rear OPR, so you'll see the largish hex thing on the bottom of the front cover.  Remove the hex "cap", and a spring and a metal "tip" should fall out.  Put the washers on the bottom into the hex cap and put everything back into place.

The engine is comepletly apart ATM. I have removed the Large HEX (rear OPR) already ... the one I am adding looks just like the one I removed almost. This cap & tip is located on the front OPR? I didn't see anything that sounds like what you are speaking of on the rear OPR. I am a little confused, do you have any pictures? or links to pictrues on this?
Thanks alot

No, sorry, I don't have pics of this laying around...maybe HAILERS can save the day?
The front oil cover has a hex cap on the bottom.  It's obvious when you look at the bottom edge.  This hex cap needs to be removed to reveal a longish spring and a pointed metal thingy.  Shim the spring upwards by placing the washers inside the hex cap, and then placing the spring and metal tip on top and reassemble.
