A little on the progress i have made!

here are some pics, so you can see how its going!
in this pic you can see the rust repair i made to the driver side rear fender.

and the close up! as you can see, this was my first time doing any rust repair. the passenger side is pretty nasty.

In those photo's you can see the rust, im thinking that the fender flairs from mazdatrix will be an easyer fix than what im doing. please chime in on this if you have used their flairs befor. more to come:P first post with pics so i wanna make sure they are posting right. thanks guys

ok here is the passenger side rear fender, its pretty nasty.

i was thinking about using the over fenders from Mazdatrix.com. lemme know if you guys have used them or not, or if you have a better suggestion.

Here are a few pics of the car, sorry its so dirty:P needs a bath!
This is the engine.... all original 13b n/a, with new belts, hoses, plugs and wires(NGK) and all the filters have been replaced, K&N for the airbox, and wix for the rest. the engine has 150k Mi. and has not been rebuilt as far as i know

here is the veiw from the drives side the body is pefectly straight, minus the rear fenders.

Here is the insides of the car! its blue and in about as perfect of condition a 24 year old RX7, some very minior cracks here and there. only problem with the inside is the drives seat, and the raido dose not work just yet

the stain in this one is the only bas spot on the inside carpet! ill scrub it out later.

slightly tatterd headliner!

and a very dusty gauge cluster!

well there is my car, in all its glory! these are the plans for her at the moment

Body: mazdatrix feder flairs, front and rear.
kinda liking the AIT Racing g4 body kit for 86-91.
and gatta have the s5 tails!!
and i have no clue about the rest yet
and looking into modifying a turbo II hood to be funtional with a n/a engine.. search for cervinies auto design and look at their ram air hoods for a fox body mustang:P might be a wast of time thought, please chime in!

Suspension: ground control coilovers!
TC Sportline front and rear strut tower bars
suspension tec fron and rear swaybar(for the adjustability:P)
replace all the rubber bushing with poly or comp rubber
still havent decided on the rest yet!

Under the hood: i would like to depower my power steering rack,
i love the way it felt when i drove it around for a few min with no P/S belt on!! get rid of the a/c pump, put on a RB cat delete and ditch the air pump, and lose the stock alt for 135-140amp ford taurus alt.

once i get all of this done, i can start to think about my turbo swap, would love so see an s5 turbo with around 325-350 rwhp but untell i can do a turbo swap i wanna get the rest of the car up to at least par, i also wanna do a little to the breaks, and a full turbo II driveline with LSD!!! Thank you for looking in on how its going so far, pretty slow for the first summer being almost over.

More good news!! I now have a Alpine CD Receiver. Its used and not the best but is better than the broken facotry radio i have had all summer all I need is 2 dash speaker's and two rear tower speakers, and I found a good replacement antanna, the motor its blown out in mine!

As far as the rear fenders go, im trying to find some one local that can weld in a rear fender/quarter pannel, after searching, my rear widebody fender idea would suck, molding body parts on a DD dosnt work out from what I have found, so I would have to bolt them on...looks tacky for what im going for. so im looking for a good fender/quarter pannel to cut out for a replacement. if anyone in the KC/KCMO area has a rear fender(Passenger side!) I can cut from a parts car, please post back!

thanks for lookin in, peace

fix the rust, find better seats, and just be happy with it.

spelling is your friend as well.
