a little help removing LIM

can it be taken off without removing the turbo or exhaust manifold, and also not pulling the engine...i got a nut dwelling in there that needs to be removed, and i would really like it if someone who has done it would tell me that it is doable

i asked the same question a wk ago. needed to replace the LIM to engine gasket & O rings.. the turbo needs to be removed in order to get all the bolts for the LIM. sorry for the bad news. hey might as well port the wastegate and the turbine runners while it's out, i did.

I hope the nut did not find its way into the engine yet. Also, this is why you always keep the LIM covered with a rag.

I'm pretty sure I took the LIM off before the turbo since when I removed the turbo I was able to get it out from the top.

I dont thinks theres anyway the LIM will come off with the turbo still bolted on. The turbo gets in the way and you need it off to get to the bolts. I've replaced the LIM gaskets a few times from different engines and always had to remove the turbo first.
