Unhappy a little bit o' smoke

I have an '86 NA and when i start it sometimes i get a little white smoke. It usually only happens when its cold outside. and yes its smoke not vapors. and the car seems to be runnin fine besides the little grounding problem iv yet to fix. so does this mean anything.
thanks

It could be nothing, but it could also be a sign of a blown apex seal. I had an 89 that did that, and it turned out to be that I had a leaky injector that dumped gas when the car was shut off...so when I started it the gas caught fire and burned making white smoke.

I've got an 86 with new injectors & it does the same thing. You know, these cars have oil injectors that pump oil into the combustion chamber and a cold start assist that pumps in a water/antifreeze mix. I've always assumed that caused my smoke. It goes away in less than 5 seconds.
