Wouldn't it be possible to get a machine shop to shave off a bunch of the material around the edge of the flywheel to get a much lower moment of inertia without spending a fortune? I know it can be done to some cars, but has anyone done it to an FC and if so how much was taken off and where? I've never seen one so I don't even know what it looks like exactly. Fictures of a machined flyqheel would be super.

has anyone confirmed, for the tweakit.net flywheels, what the "Requires 12A/13B 4-port style pressure plate (RX7 1979-1983). Suit either 4-port or 6-port clutch plate." comment is all about??
seems like very good prices for those flywheels, 10.49 is quite light for a steel flywheel. there is also the option to get the flywheel Nitride treated for a minimal fee
