Man! Nice car! I like those wheels...both drive and steering. Thanks for showing RarestRx's car. I hear a lot about it, but haven't seen it. Both of 'em are sweet!

personally i like seeing a fixed up FC more than an FD cuz i know the FC owner has put, heart blood and soul into his car while the fd owner takes it to his local rotary shop....

People be axin about wax.. hehe.. I'm kinda a detail nut so I will tell you what it's all about. This is kinda just a little guide and doesn't get into too much detail.. trust me.. there is a LOT out there I left out like don't do this stuff in the sun!

#1 a good car wash like Meguirs Gold.. it's cheap and works AWESOME.. suds great and feels "rich" you want suds..lots of them... suds prevent scratches.. don't use dish soap!! Target is a good place to get this. Make sure you use a good cloth.. don't just use a rag.. a good quality 100% cotton mit is fine.. test it on a CD first... if dry it scratches the CD then for God's sake don't use it on your paint! A big mit can trap dirt in it and keep it away from your paint but a rag doesn't do that.. you pick up some sand.. it's gonna scratch your car! Rinse often!

#2 use a Clay Magic clay bar all over your car before you wax it.. trust me it's a bitch but it removes a TON of crap off the paint that would never go away otherwise. This removes all of your old shitty wax too so make sure to wax it after you do this! Pep Boys has this.

#2 Klasse all in one... mist a dry microfiber applicator pad with a quick detail spray such as Eagle One wet Wipe and Shine.. out about a nickle sized dab.. it goes on like nothing and comes off just as easy.. I sware it's the best wax I have ever used. Feels like buttah..

#3 Klasse High Gloss Selant applied the same as the all in one but you use less... I do 2 coats on my car but you can do more.. this stuff SHINES!! You do not need to wait for the all in one to cure because it's synthetic wax... it also lasts longer!

After your car is waxed and looks great.. after every wash use Eagle One wet Wipe and Shine. It gives it that "just waxed" look and takes off excess wax that you may have left.. BUT if you use Klasse correctly you really don't have this problem :-D The Klasse stuff is pimp and microfiber is key.. Kalsse isn't something that you can go to Pepboys and get thou.. www.concoursdirect.com is probably your best bet for it. I have never seen it for sale in a local store.

Remember heat and washing removes wax so keep your car garaged. You should wax your car 3-4 times a year depending on weather and if you use a synth wax like Klasse or a organic one.. Organic wears a lot faster.

Next.. you need sunscreen for your car. 303.. I can't speak more highly of this product.. 303 kicks *** it's awesome.. rub it on just about everything on the inside.. it keeps your plastic from cracking and makes stuff shine. This can be hard to find.. but my local grocery store actualy carries it. Do not use on clear plastic thou.

For rims.. I use Eagle One A2Z Wheel Cleaner.. just spray on.. agitate with a brush and hose off.. bye bye break dust and 1 hour of scrubbing like I used to do.. get it just about anywhere.. it's in an orange bottle.

To remove stains in the seat/carpet.. Eagle One Zap Spot Remover I sware this **** kicks ***.. I use a bottle for my home carpet to get up stains! get just about anywhere. Spray on.. let it sit for a min.. agitate and dab up with a terry cloth.

Don't use windex in your car!!! it will kill it.. plastics and all!! use Viper, Eagle or some other auto glass NON ammonia cleaner on the glass! DO NOT USE WINDEX!!!

If you want to read more about detailing peep out http://www.autopia.org/forums that's where I learned ;-)

After reading this it seems like I might work for Eagle One or something.. nope.. they just have inexpensive products that work really well and you can actualy find them! There are other things that work as well but I I don't think I have ever seen BLACKFIRE or Sonus at Pep Boys.. you have to mail order those things..
