Leading ignition coil won't spark
Hi there, I have a 1986 GXL FC. I bought it used, and have found/corrected several problems. One of the problems that might be related to this was that the red wire comming into the crank angle sensor had been cut and rigged to a 12v line that powered with the ignition. The fuel pump was also rigged and brought to the front of the engine. The problem is that the leading ignition coil won't generate a spark, and the trailing one generates a weak one. I have no clue where to start, I replaced the ECU with a spare one, but I still get no spark. Any ideas where to look? Or any tests I can do to the coil/wires leading up to it?
Also, I read that the fuel pump should be in the fuel tank, anyone have a wiring diagram/picture so I can change it back?
Thanks for any help guys
