MB Lazy window 88 vert

My passenger side window is slow to raise and lower.
What can I do to improve the situation? I'm concerned it will go down one day and not come back up
Thanks,
Mike

clean your switches or wire in relays from a direct 12v source

Literally, it's night and day difference. I still recommend cleaning and greasing the tracks.

Search and you'll find a very comprehensive thread on this subject. Repeat after me, searching is good.

Bottom line, after 20+ years the motor can't draw enough amps past all the various corroded connectors between it and the battery. So you're best bet is to run a direct hot to the switch via a bosh relay of (my choice since you're going to all the work) an aftermarket one touch relay you can get an any auto alarm shop.

I'd also grease the tracks.

Searching also finds a lot of useless crap. i hate it passionately.

+2. before hacking up the wiring, and causing MORE potential problems.
i removed cleaned all gears/ tracks/ and the hose that that comes out at the bottom for the "tail" of the regulator, both of my vert windows would make it to 75% of the way very slowly, and then need help at the end, just cleaning and regreasing, i can roll up them BOTH AT THE SAME TIME, and about twice as fast as before.
