Question late 88 tubo ll, just wonderin'

I was wondering what (if any) difference is there in the turbo ll's made before 6/87 and the the ones made from 7/87 (released as 88 model) until they changed the car again for 89 model year? i knoiw that when i was changing the injectors, that my car required a resistor in line with my secondaries because it was made in july of 87.just wondering if there were any other differences...thanks

Most of the 88 T2 had the GTU style spoiler, and didn't have the Sport front end ground effects.

The sheet metal in the front doors changed for 88 to allow a 6 inch speaker in the front part of the door.

The 88 dash trim panel around the idiot lights changed slightly to a shielded cover, and the idiot lights got a matte black finish.

Other than the ECU and injector setup they were the same mechanically though.
