KYB AGX Shocks

I'm pricing out a coil over setup and I was looking on the racingbeat website and for AGX struts on all 4 corners its 373$ american and if someone was to order them throught the k2rd website its 410$ american. Just thought i'd pass that info onto you guys in the off chance it saves someone some money. Research sometimes pays off

Check that math.

$135 + $135 (two for front) + $103 + $103 (two for rear) is $476 dollars.

Sometimes grade one math pays off

nah I did that already but I figured the rears came together since there was individual links for the fronts dick

If you buy them from www.wholesalehyperformance.com, i think they are cheaper. They were cheaper for me. You may want to call them and ask them to beat the price you found. They've actually done that for me more than once.

I have raced two seasons on my AGX shocks with various spring rates and sway bar configurations. The AGX shocks are reaonsably priced but you get what you pay for. AGX shocks and coilovers do not play well with each other. They are no more than a fancy street shock and can't take much more than stock spring rates.

so would it be better to go with the agx shocks and rb springs or some kinda configuration like that?

I would imagine that they are much more suited for stock or just slightly stiffer springs. If you are just looking for slightly better performance on a budget then RB Springs and AGX shocks will probably work out great. In fact, later this year I plan on pulling the AGX shocks from my race car and putting them on my daily driver with Eibach springs.

But if you do plan on getting coilovers I strongly suggest you also budget for a high quality set of shocks. Not just for performance but also for reliablity. A few hot laps on a track had these shocks WAY overheated. You would get the same heat results with a long drive across town. With any shock the heat buildup with begin to destroy the internal seals and valves as well as breakdown the oil inside.

so for a street car you do or dont reccommend the RB springs with the KYB AGX's
