KGPARTS primary fuel rail
Anybody using one?
Just want to see\know how did you set the injectors on the center iron. KGparts sells an injector spacers, but they didn't fit on the stock injector holes

you'll probably have to rig some **** up man
I don't know about on the FD, but on the 2nd gen KG rails are very annoying to install because they come with no mounting hardware. I have the secondary rail and it took me a long time to figure out that I needed to stack two washers and use allen bolts of a certain size to make everything fit.

there is a little black piece (its stock) that you need to keep. If you don't have it the rail wont mount properly. Here is the link to what it looks like.
http://www.mazdatrix.com/c-6.htm All the way at the bottom of page.
It's called the "Fuel Rail Spacer / Insulator"
"This is simply the plastic spacer that goes under the primary fuel rail for 86-92 where it bolts to the center housing. The rail will not seal correctly to the top of the injectors without the spacer. This is another part that likes to "disappear" during engine work."
here is a reference picture

I was able to find the hardware fairly quick, however the bottom section of a bosch style injector is different than the OEM style; so the OEM diffuser + OEM air bleed + OEM spacer + OEM injector grommets don't work.
I thought that with the KGPARTS spacer, all I had to do was leave in place the OEM diffuser (and remove everything else) + the KGPARTS spacer; and then install the bosch style injector and fuel rail. Unfortunately, the KGPARTS spacer did not "drop in" into the injector holes. I think the injector spacer, needs to be pressed (or hammer in) into the center plate injector hole

I ended up leaving the OEM diffuser, (removed the OEM spacer) + the OEM injector grommet. Seems to be working, but...
I don't know, it doesn't feel right

Keith, U are the MAN!!
FYI for everybody - The spacers are made with a very tight tolerance... tossing them in the freezer to shrink them will help in sliding them in without having to press fit or struggle.
BTW - This post was by no means a slant against KGPARTS, they shipped everything right away, and their price is reasonable. Keith also responds ASAP.
I just wanted to see what others have done

So did you end up leaving the OEM injector spacer out or did it go back in underneath the KGParts spacer?
Basically I'm asking does it go:
Injector-->KGParts spacer-->OEM Spacer-->diffuser
-or-
Injector-->KGParts spacer-->diffuser

850CC Bosch style injectors.
I did, but I was hoping not to; when I purchased the KGPARTS injector spacer.

You don't need that on the KGPARTS fuel rail. The rail height is adjustable, meaning you can raise (or lower) the rail.
