90 non turbo automatic is the car.
alright guys, can anyone tell me what is going on here. i have 2 different diagrams for vaccum. i thought they were the same till i got to this part. im working down with the solenoids and im tracing lines. in photo one, you can see a check valve i found several months ago that was broken (and superglued back together, and broke again.) since this was broke when i got the car, i replaced the valve asuming the lines were in the right place. can anyone confirm or correct this?
pic 2. i one of the diagrams it liiks like all the solenoids on the bottom are supposed to have screens on the one side. is this a wrong replacment or am i reading he diagram wrong?
pic 3. this was a hard one to take and it probably doesnt make any sense. but i followed diagram 4 and ran it this way. i dont know if this is right either, (basically visual representation of pic 4)
pic 4. vaccum diagram given to me from my dealer. one i would normally choose to follow.
-vs-
pic 5. haynes manual vaccum diagram.
in pic 4 & 5 the purge control valve is in the way of the stuff in pic one.
thats about the best way i can put it. thanks in advance...

If you have a series five engine, you don't have a place for a EGR. IF the engine you have has a place for a EGR then you don't have a series five engine but a series four engine.
Which engine do you/did you think you have?

ok thanks. here is another quick question... i know that most check valves are green and white with an arrow running off the side to show direction. are the 2 green and black ones coming off of my double throttle diaphram also check valves?
the reason i ask is beacuse the one with a white dot i cant get air through either way. the other one will flow one way fairly easy, but the other way its much harder and flows slower.
