is the 1st gen officaly under a FB code and if it is there a FA somewhere
and what does F mean something FB,FC,FD
was just bored
what are the different series in the 2nd gen
i drive a 88 gxl what series is that

2nd Gen:
1986-88 Series 4
1989-92 Series 5
The s5 engine has lighter rotors and higher compression and puts out about 20 more hp than series 4 of equal engine (n/a s4 140 hp, n/a s5 160), but they weigh about 250 lbs more.

the 81-85's were FB
Major difference is body style, smaller engine differences...
