Thumbs up Just a little info on different dyno's. dynojet vs mustang

Well, this last dyno day a friend of mine (Bill White.) put his n/a 2nd gen, with some mild mods on the mustang dyno. He put down 117rwhp. No big deal realy. But, he thought his car should be putting down alot more. So he whent to a dynojet. The car put down 130rwhp! Thats a 13rwhp difference. He did'nt change plugs, fuel filter or anything. He said he did'nt even pop open the hood. Thats about a 10% difference in hp.

So, when you guys dyno your cars, please take it with a grain of salt.

Also, as most of you guys know, I put down 167rwhp awhile ago on a mustang. With a working 6 port system. Now that I ripped the 6 port system out, i'm thinking about taking it to a dyno jet, and seeing if I can break 180rhwp. Would'nt that be awesome! 180+rwhp on a n/a car with a stock idle!?

Maybe if enough of you guys bug me, i'll take it to the dyno. CJ

Mustang dynos require an accurate weight to be entered to get a good reading. Guessing the weight is obviously not accurate AT ALL. Plus, mustangs generally read lower.
