yeah, I just wanted to post that
Seriously how often do you guys see an A.E.?
For me its about once every six months.
I don't know of anybody who owns but although there is one in my local club.
This one had FL. plates, 104k on the odometer, and about 10 zillion mardi gras beads hanging from the rearview

I've seen two in person...one was in Athens Ohio back in April. I was there to escape the Cincinnati Riot curfews and to see the White Stripes. Anways, I was hanging out waiting for some of my buddies and a MINT 10th Anny drove around the corner. I almost pissed my pants. I think the guy is listed on Ted Koseki's TII registry.
Then there is the 10th Anny that belongs to a member of the Cincinnati RX-7 club.

Rotary Freak
I have only seen 1 10th an and the only other turbo RX7 I have seen is the one in my driveway (2nd gen that is, I see 3rd's all the time)
Thankfully the 10th was for sale and I got to give it a little test drive.
It had 72k miles on it, a remanned engine from Mazda with under 20k on it, RB turbo back, and FCD. Nothing else to my knowlege, no guages or anything but I guess there could have been hidden things like a K&N drop in filter and an upgraded fuel pump/injectors/ecu. Oh ya it had a strut bar.
The fellow was asking $7000 and I got him down to $5500. I was close to buying but I was sceptical cause it was burning something other than antifreeze (the guy said ATF, at the time I didnt understand and was affraid). Basically I had no clue about rotary engines a year ago.
The test drive was totally rewarding. I can rate that car as one of the fastest cars I have ever been in, and THE FASTEST I have personally driven. Now I have practically the same thing in my driveway minus the mods.

There are 3 that I know of here (smaller quad-city area of S. Central FL).
One belongs to a friend. His brother also has one at the same residence; (work in progress) and there's another one floating around town.

I see one usually every week (Chris Ng's car), and around calgary I usually end up seeing about once a week on average it seems (more during the summer). There seems to be about 8ish distinct ones I see kicking around in the city.
More rare is seeing a 89+ FC of anykind, let alone a 89+ TII. FD's are heard to come by here too.

I have personally seen 9 others than mine in the Greenville SC and surrounding area. Dunno what it is, we have TONS up here. Infact, I've seen 3 times as many 10AE's than I've seen regular TII.(I've seen 3 TII's)
