Just how loud??

If I replace the stock exhaust manifold and 2 pre-cats with a header that connects to the stock cat, just how much louder will it be. It still has the stock cat and cat-back.

cool, thanx

How much will leaving the cat in lower the gain I'll get? I've tried searching this and all I get is full setups that remove the cat entirely.

Well Im using a high-flow cat, and in using a good high flow cat, the difference between it and a midpipe is almost negligable. Im sure the stock cat will rob some power... as to how much I can't really say.

Both ( cat or presilencer) have about the same muffling effect.

The header is the big deal for an NA.
If the cat's in good shape, it's a small loss compared to the header's big gain.
