just got my car back with her first mod.

well about 2 weeks ago i left for north florida i got about 1/2 way and my tranny went out. so i took it down to my mechanic and he put in a rebuilt tranny, resurfaced the flywheel and put in its first mod an ACT stage I street/strip clutch. i picked the car up yesterday afternoon and it was not shifting as smoothly so i took it back to them they put more tranny fluid in it and now its fine, but i also broke a motor mount last night so i have to get that fixed next weekend and i am also having new shifter bushings put in. so the mods are underway. i so happy but just thought i would share the good news with you guys. now once i get the TPS put in the car will be in perfect running condition. its got a new motor 4k miles on it, new driveshaft, tranny, clutch, flywheel ect ect. so on and so forth. but i cant wait. soon she will be getting more mods. right after x-mas. she is getting a paint job in 2 weeks. she is going from red to a nice darkish blue. the color that comes on the corvette Z06's. so she is finally comming together. ill keep you all posted on how she ends up turning out.

Shifter bushing

Dude... shifter bushing replacement is a great Idea, gets rid of all that slop in the shifter... However, if you pay someone to to a shifter bushing replaceement job, uyou must have money to burn cause that is EASY!!

Good choice on the ACT clutch... I love mine!

I recently had an ACT installed when I got my new motor put in. So far I like it alot, I still have the wastegate wired open though so I havent really put it through any high power shifts.
