cheap ebay springs and some others including tanabe slightly lower inner wheel clearance.

Well yea isnt that what happens when you lower a car??? EBAY springs are ****. There spring rates are never right and it will be a hell of a bouncy ride. If your going to do it you might as well do it right, and get a name brand ones. If your going the ebay route, you might as well cut the stock ones, cuz thats the ride your going to get.

what kind of springs you looking for? performance or lowering springs?

i have rb springs, those are performance ones, the springs rate is 130 front and 90 rear, according to mazdatrix(though i ordered it from racingbeat site)

ive heard intrax are lowering springs but lets see what others have to input.

i'm looking for more performance springs then just lowering. want a fair ride quality, so my gf don't bi*ch at me when she rides in it, but i like it stiff, can't have both but want something close to it.

Tanabe GF210s are hella nice I had them on my 87 but then got ground control cuz I wanted lower look. But GFs are nice ride and feeling.

Talking

I'm not sure if they're officially discontinued yet or not but I have Eibach Pro Kit springs with my Tokico Blues and I love the way it rides. They're pretty stiff though. Car looks good, back is a little higher than the front so it gives it a more aggressive stance.

I got the springs and shocks lightly used for 100 bucks along with a camber adjuster. Hard to beat deal.

Cheers,
Cody

Not to bust in on your thread man, but what brand coil overs can easily adapt to an 87 gxl with the "auto adjust susp." set-up? I'm probably going to go for tokico blues with eibach or tanabes as I can see they're a favored set-up on here, but curious on the coils for future reference....

The more your car vibrates the less she'll complain.

Start a new thread, don't jack someone else's thread with a completely different question.

RS*R or Tanabe with KYB/AGX or Tokico Illuminas.
Check out Ground Control springs too. You can get the one with the sleeves and choose your spring rates/length.
