Just got a fc

ok guys i just got a 89 tII with a rebuilt 91 TII motor in it its nice just needs a few minor parts to get running. but i have been asking around and everyone says the rem motors is the best to go with and do a swap with that. then i was also looking and most people get rifd of all of their vacum lines and crap i was wonderin how u do that. im not used to rotorary i know a little nad learn real fast but i have been about pistons a long time so i was hoping someone could school me up. i was looking on the banzai website on how to do the swap and it doesnt look to hard but i am looking for like a 500-600 whp daily drive. i already got a t35, 40mm waste gate, and turbo xs rfl type h for it i hear stand alone then i hear apexi fc , i was thinkin haltech is the way to go im going haltech in my msp when i get back from iraq. but anyways can someone school me up on the ways of the rotary. how do i get rid of that rats nest of vacum line, how hard is it to rebuilt all that crap

a T35 turbo will be useless
even a GT35 will not make your goal.

also that 40mm wastegate is too small, 2 40's or a single 50-60 will be much safer at that power level.

a GT42 will work well, A-spec sells a GT42 turbo kit. see vendors at to top of the main page.

Best bet=

- Read the faq. There's way more info in there than you need and will save you some time and money in the long run.

- Research as much as you can. 500-600 is achievable, but not easy at all. Look for threads from J-rat and try to find his buildup. He's running 10's in a near 500hp 10th AE. There's also a thread in the "timeslips and dyno numbers" section at this top of this section and you might be able to find someone to better help you there.

- Removing the "rats nest" is a pain in the ***. There is a write up on http://www.rotaryresurrection.com under the 2nd gen tech section if you want to know how to do it. I don't really recommend it. I'm not saying you can't do it, but i'd only put the time in if I needed that last edge to be competitive. I'd look more into porting the throttle body.

Good luck and I wish you a safe return from Iraq, my friend.

forget the emissions removal did that been there...pain in the *** to get it to run and idle close to with emmissions still on. no gain from it but cleans up bay some..500-600whp on stock ports will be ridiculous especially as a daily. best way to go about it finacially and common sense to try to get the numbers as a daily is to yank the motor in it sell that and get a 20b 3 rotor engine.
