Just did a swap and car wont start or stay running

I just swapped in my running 6 port engine into another car which worked perfectly by the way. Now since its in the other car, it will not start and continue to run unless there is a constant stream of starter fluid sprayed into the afm. I used my own engine harness, ecu, and maf so I know that isnt a problem. I cannot find any vacuum leaks and all the all sensors are intact. The CAS has not been moved, and plug wires are in the correct order. The guy used some shitty looking plugs but swore that they were just bought. The next thing i plan to do is try another fuel pump. Any suggestions?

Go to the basics.
Check for spark, fuel, and air.

make sure you didn't run the fuel hoses backward.

Vacum leaks as well will make the car not idle

+1 on fuel hoses backwards. Also, jumper the yellow fuel pump test connector near the AFM. With IGN on, see if the fuel rail pressurizes. You'll hear fuel running through it and back to the tank.

check your fuel pump relay and my buddy has the same problem, only difference is his stays on after the first spray, no need for more spray. But really look into the relay, before moving on to another section of the car. you dont want to escalate the problem when it can just be something simple.

btw if your car is not staying on, its your injectors.

That is not necessarily true by any means. There are loads of things that can keep your car from idling.

in this scenario it is cause he is using starter fluid to start it, then its not staying on, thats where the injectors come in to play, also his fuel pump relay has to do with it as well. (Unless you have more info then i do, please explain yourself.) correct me if i'm wrong, lol... i am always open to new things...
