I have a US spec 88 turbo II. What should I do? Looks like the waste gate actuator is on the wrong side. Does anyone know if it will work? If not I am sending it back to the seller.

A friend of mine removed everything for the twin scroll crap. You can remove the flapper, rod, actuator, and then plug the exhaust hole and plug a single vaccum line. This will give you slightly more top end and slightly decreased bottom end, but its negligable.
Rip that crap off.
That looks like a nice clean turbo btw.

I bought the exhaust manifold.
Are we talking about the same thing? If the actuator on the exhaust manifold is on the wrong side how do I install it? Will it work as is? I am very confused.

I am taking it to a mechanic so I wanted to make sure it will work with my US spec turbo II. I don't want him to take it apart and find out that it wouldn't work, then I will be charged for nothing. Since the actuator is on the other side will it physically fit in the spot? Will anything gets in its way?

So do I just ask the mechanic to bolt it right on? Or do I need to tell him to modify some part? I really need some answers here. Need to get the car running well again thanks.
