Talking Just bought an 87 RX7!!!!

I have been a member here for a week and have already bought an 87 N/A RX7. I origanlly got on here to do some research for my friend who is getting one next week (91 N/A).

But I bought his other ReX he retired to the back yard. Of course it needs another engine, transmission, wheels and tires, both tail lights, new interior, and passenger door (cause it don't have one). I was wanting a project car, well I guess I got one.

Only paid a hundred dollars so I don't figure I got hurt. I can sell it for scrape and get more than that. It actually runs, but I have seen old trains not smoke that much. It was hit in the door, but there is no visible signs of the frame being warped. No ridges on any body panels or anything like that.

I figure on getting another engine and tranny from a salvage yard (and the other parts). And tossing on a set of headers, high flow cat, nice exhaust (maybe Apex N1), air intake, and maybe an ECU upgrade. Hadn't thought the mods through yet, just want to get it road worthy.

Anyway, I have a new toy to play/work on.
